Why do I need to pay a deposit?

A deposit confirms your place within an available class. It covers 2 hours of teaching and paper-based resources.

What's the difference between AS level and A2 level?

The A level course is a two-year course. The Advanced Subsidiary level (AS level) is the first year of this course This can be a qualification on its own. A2 is not a qualification on its own, it is the second year of the Advanced level (A level) course. AS+A2 = A level.

Why do I only have access to FREE resources?

Parents have access to sample resources throughout the course. This is so they are familiar with the types of resources being shared. A student has access to FREE resources only until full registration is complete. This means choosing your course, entering your grades and paying your deposit.

Can I pay for one lesson at a time?

Yes, you can, all lessons must be paid for in advance of a class.

What currency can I pay in?

Currently, 3 currencies are available, KWD, GBP and USD. $ (USD) is the predominant currency for students from the rest of the world.

Why doesn't the gold package cover all revision lessons as well?

The number of revision lessons required from student to student differs, some require more and some require less revision.

I bought a package, can I get a refund?

All packages once purchased can be refunded, however, all packages are discounted and therefore the discount would be removed as the package hasn't been completed. Any refunds would also incur an admin fee (5% of the package price)

I paid for the Gold Package, does that cover the entire year?

The Gold Package covers syllabus lessons only. It does not cover revision lessons though the package can be used towards revision lessons. However, this may mean further payments will be required to complete the course.

I have forgotten my password, how do i reset it?

Parents/guardians can reset their passwords found under the login screen. Student accounts are google linked accounts, student passwords will need to be changed via their google accounts to access their profiles.

Can I be logged into the website and the app at the same time?

Unfortunately not, logging into the app will result in automatic logging out of the website.

Why can't i access ALL resources?

Students who have 4 consecutive hours of unpaid lessons or have been absent for 4 consecutive hours of teaching will have temporary restrictions placed on accessing resources. Access will be restored when the balance is up to date and/or when lessons are attended again.

What is the difference between IGCSE and GCSE?

General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) is a qualification taught primarily in England. The I stands for International. International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) as the name suggests is primarily aimed at schools outwith England. However, there are some private schools in the UK that opt to teach the IGCSE instead of the GCSE qualification.

Which course should I choose?

You will need to have basic knowledge of which syllabus you are going to be doing whether you are home study or at school. The courses section gives you access to the syllabuses for the courses on offer.

What's the difference between IAL and AL?

AL generally denotes A level and IAL denotes International A level. IAL tends to be taught in schools outwith the UK. There are some exceptions to the rule where some international schools choose to teach some AL rather than IAL courses.
